Information Clause – Article 13 of GDPR

• 1. Karolina Rojek-Sas Language Solutions, with its registered office in Warsaw, is the Controller of your data.
• 2. The observance of data protection principles at Karolina Rojek-Sas Language Solutions is supervised by an appointed Data Protection Officer who can be contacted at the following e-mail address: info@karolinarojek.com.
• 3. Your personal data will be processed for the translating purposes (personal data included in documents which are subject to translation). The data will be stored in the form of original documents as well as translations for an appropriate period including proper deadlines of the limitation of claims.
• 4. Your personal data will be also processed for the purposes of keeping the Repertorium of a Sworn Translator and Interpreter, namely the register of activities performed by a sworn translator and interpreter. It is obligatory to provide such data and this obligation results from the requirement of determining a principal or a contracting party, specified in Article 17 par. 2 of the Act on the Profession of Sworn Translator (of 25th October 2014 as amended). That data will be stored for the period of minimum 3 years.
• 5. If it is necessary to issue an invoice, providing additional data for that purpose will be required. This results from additional provisions imposing such an obligation on you. That data will be stored for a period resulting from the above-mentioned provisions (currently – 5 years).
• 6. Due to the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:
  • the right to access your data (pursuant to Article 15 of GDPR);
  • the right to be given copies of the processed data;
  • the right to rectify your data (pursuant to Article 16 of GDPR);
  • the right to erase your data (pursuant to Article 17 of GDPR);
  • the right to restrict the processing of your data (pursuant to Article 18 of GDPR), which the Controller is obliged to do only if special circumstances, specified in personal data protection provisions, occur;
  • the right to object (pursuant to Article 21 of GDPR) to the processing of such data which is provided voluntarily. However, the consideration of such an objection might result in the inability to perform a translation order;
  • the right to file a complaint to the supervisory authority, if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.
